My first memory of Doreen was on a sponsored walk which Dawn and Bob had organised. She tapped me on the shoulder and asked if we could walk together. We got chatting and I knew immediately we would be friends. So many happy times spent with you the rest of 'Dawn;s Girls' and great, fun days out together at the Knit and stitch Show. I will miss your wicked sense of humour and your funny little sayings Doreen. You were simply the best!

I vividly remember Doreen when I was lucky enough to show her round the Gallery Gym. I immediately thought (and told her) that she should be one of my ‘girls’. Luckily for us all she joined the classes and then there was no turning back . She quickly became a huge part of the group, making us laugh with her cheeky quips and her quick wit. I fondly remember partnering Doreen in a potters dance class. If was hilarious. I loved this wonderful lady to bits. Miss you so much xxxx.
